Sci…volando in Dolomiti

Ski touring was born in Italy above all, in its recreational form, in the Apennines. However, for some years now it has also been developing in the Alps, dispelling the erroneous idea that these latter mountains are only suitable for ski mountaineering or cross-country skiing. In fact, like the Apennines, the Alps, and in particular the Dolomites, offer many interesting possibilities for ski touring. With this guide, the author wanted to make his knowledge, the result of many years of frequenting the Dolomites on skis, available to everyone, thus offering skiers from all over Italy, and beyond, many opportunities. As many as 50 itineraries are described on almost all the Dolomite areas: Sesto Dolomites, Fanes-Senes-Braies Dolomites, Ampezzo Dolomites, Paneveggio and Pale di S. Martino Dolomites, Fassa Dolomites, Zoldo Dolomites, Belluno Dolomites, Cadore and Comelico Dolomites.
