Parco Storico Regionale Monte Sole

The Park, which preserves a biodiversity heritage among the highest in the region, protects the reliefs of the mountain ridge between Reno and Setta, sadly known throughout the world for the tragic events of the autumn of 1944, when the Nazi-fascists perpetrated a series of brutal massacres against the civilian population, believed to be complicit with the partisans. In the "Memorial" area an itinerary connects the main localities devastated by the ferocious retaliation, such as Casaglia di Caprara, San Martino and Cerpiano.
