Year: 2002 Format: 14x20 Pages: 128 Photos: col The protected areas of the Province of Verona is a volume that describes the places and methods of nature protection in the territory of the Province of Verona, taking into consideration all the areas subject to protection, from Lessinia Regional Natural Park, Integral Reserves and Protection Oases. Each individual area is described on a geographical, environmental and flora-faunistic level. Furthermore, the forms of protection adopted for each are specified, the methods of their compliance and, naturally, the reasons that suggested their institution. For each area, some visit itineraries are then described, accompanied by technical sheets showing times, differences in altitude, etc. The work is also accompanied by a technical sheet on the fish fauna drawn up by the ichthyologist of the Province Ivano Confortini and a brief photographic overview of the most suggestive environmental aspects of the main areas mentioned.
