La Val di Fiemme

Val di Fiemme is a beautiful and important valley in eastern Trentino, corresponding to the middle stretch of the Avisio, the stream that originates from the Marmolada glacier. Large and sunny, it is covered with dense coniferous forests and is crossed by numerous streams and streams. In 34 itineraries, this book describes the mountains on both sides of Fiemme: to the north the Latemàr group, the subgroup of Mount Agnello-Cornòn and the Regglberg plateau, and to the south the central portion of Lagorai. They are very different mountains: from the beautiful dolomite crags of Latemàr, jagged into countless spiers and towers, steep walls and narrow incisions at the head of deep debris gullies, we move on to the gentle undulations of the Plateau and finally to the many volcanic peaks, connected in the long Lagorai chain.
