What better means than snowshoes? This ancient tool, rediscovered in recent times, is useful for traveling, but also for learning about nature and views that would otherwise be difficult to discover and enjoy. There are no ski lifts that take you to the top of a mountain and then quickly down a slope... making at most a quick glance possible.
