Ciclovia del Sile

guide for cycling in a suggestive part of the Veneto, from Castelfranco Veneto to Jesolo, following the peaceful course of the Sile river. A unique route accessible to cycle tourists of all ages and all levels, which brings together nature, history and art. The Sile cycle path reaches 100 km. in length and it is one of the most fascinating cycle itineraries that currently exist in our country, along a historic river that runs through a little urbanized area surrounded by greenery. We start from the Sile of the springs (from Porta dell'Acqua to Treviso) with the possibility of having Castelfranco Veneto as an initial point of reference, an important historical center a few kilometers from the river's springs. We continue along the Sile plain (from Treviso to Portegrandi) which winds through villages such as Casale sul Sile and Quarto d'Altino, natural oases, marshes and historic villas. Finally, it ends with the Sile of the lagoon (from Portegrandi to Jesolo-Cavallino) which reaches the mouth of the river and the sea.
