The province of Cuneo has a heritage of little-known and often neglected secondary roads, silent winding country roads respecting the cultivated fields and the shape of the territory, often accompanied by ditches and irrigation canals manned by rows of willow trees. Paths that run along the shady or sunny slopes of the valley bottoms, or exposed on the airy hilly ridges among the geometries of the vineyards. The guide collects and describes 50 cycle tourism routes in the part of the territory accessible to the widest range of cyclists: the flat area, the lower part of the Alpine valleys and the more accessible hills of the Langhe and Roero. This in-depth investigation is aimed at leisurely cyclists who intend to interpret the cycling excursion as a moderate sporting activity combined with the discovery of the cultural values present in the area.
