We start from the Maira Valley passing through the King of Stone, the Monviso, the perfect pyramid from which the Po originates, to arrive at the Susa Valley which has always been the easiest to access with France. On the other side of the border we find the Briançonnais, with the splendid Vallée de la Névache, the wild Ecrins massif, the sweet Queiras, the Provençal colors and scents of the Gapençais and the Dévolut. A total of 76 Italian structures (39 refuges, 26 stopping places, 11 bivouacs) and 142 French (78 stopping places, 56 refuges, 6 small hotels, 2 youth auberges).
