Canyoning in Francia

In these valleys, the pioneers of canyoning explored and traveled, between 1900 and 1930, canyons such as the Verdon, the Artuby, or the Clue d'Aiglun. In the 1980s, the activity in a modern sense became established, increasingly freeing itself from the two ascendant disciplines: speleology and mountaineering. Canyoning is a technical and recreational activity at the same time, adequate psychophysical preparation and specific equipment are therefore essential. Practicing this sport requires dedication but can provide indescribable emotions.
