Hiking and health is a mountain medicine manual written specifically for hikers, so that they benefit from the practice of this activity, preventing and promptly treating small ailments or more serious problems that could arise in the mountains. The authors, all belonging to the Italian Society of Mountain Medicine, are doctors with many years of experience and frequenting mountains all over the world. In addition to indications for the prevention of some commonly encountered pathologies, many of the chapters are structured with indications such as "what to do" and "what not to do". All this to provide a simple tool that allows everyone to intervene in an immediate and rational way, so that hiking is fun and healthy.
