Autana

Leo Houlding and fellow climbers Sean Leary and Jason Pickles are in the Amazon River, attempting to make the first ascent of the east face of remote Cerro Autana. The adventure begins with a secret journey with military checkpoints and passages through the state of Amazonas. Our team of clandestine climbers disguised as tourists travel along the Orinoco River to the remote village of Ceguera where they pay a visit to the local shaman to gain access to the sacred mountain. From here in stifling jungle humidity they are just part of this spectacular journey of self-discovery. Follow as they find their way to the haunted jungle and rock wall in the incredible Autana Cave system, the highest cave complex in the world.
