In april 2005, two of the UK’s best climbers joined forces to attempt an onsight ascent of Europe’s most infamous ultra hard big wall sport climb, Hotel Supramonte, on the island of Sardinia. The climb overhangs for nearly half a kilometre, has four pitches graded between 8a and 8b, and has previously rejected onsight attempts by the best of the best.
