Year: 2000 Pages: 70 ..."But why shouldn't you do it? Why not now, not now?... Why not?" Marco Anghileri, 28 years old from Lecco, has had a deep passion for adventure since he was young. The proximity of his home mountains and the good fortune of having a very strong mountaineer as a father pushed him to immediately get to know the mountain environment. He makes dozens and dozens of ascents in the Alps, many of these solo and in winter; the conditions are certainly more exasperated in the opinion of the experts. Finally, with the first solo winter repeat of the Solleder route in Civetta, he reaches a truly surprising goal but, as he himself states, all this is not a point of arrival but rather "a fundamental stage for my mountaineering growth which I feel will continue long".
