Year: 1994 Pages: 192 In July 1969, a letter of appeal from member Angelo Ursella appeared in the Cai Monthly Magazine: a twenty-two-year-old from Buia in Friuli, in a frantic search for friends and climbing partners. The intervention arouses a lot of curiosity because Ursella is not naive, and in two years he has in fact climbed some of the most challenging routes in the Dolomites. A great mountaineer, therefore, gifted with an out of the ordinary will; but also a desperately lonely, shy and shy boy, as emerges from the pages of his diary, collected by Beppe and Italo Zandonella Callegher.
