Now in its third edition, after those of 1995 and 2005, the ice and mixed mountaineering manual is aimed at students participating in the basic and advanced courses organized by the CAI mountaineering and ski mountaineering schools and at all instructors as an essential reference for the purposes of teaching uniformity. The manual is also aimed at all those who already carrying out this activity want to deepen their preparation on issues relating to progression techniques, mountaineering equipment, insurance systems and the preparation and conduct of the climb. The text is accompanied on each page by numerous drawings and images, which make the description of technical knowledge extremely detailed.
