Freeriding is not only a sporting discipline, but above all a mental one. It's the thought that pushes riders to challenge their limits and tackle an extreme descent, or set off to explore an unknown region. It is precisely the inner side that comes out the most from Umenti&Neve. Eighteen interviews with skiers and snowboarders, present and past, who have left an indelible mark on the world of freeriding and powder. Through their words and their stories, the deepest reasons that pushed them to get involved and sometimes to risk their lives to feel free to be able to leave their trace on the slopes they dreamed of are addressed. For many of them, freeriding wasn't the easiest option. They gave up the easier and less dangerous path, in order to be able to express themselves in the way that best represented them, that of freedom and contact with nature. The lines they have traced are a bit of a symbol of their soul and their way of being.
