50 attractive panoramic peaks of South Tyrol, from Val Venosta to Val Passiria, easily reachable by every trained hiker who has a minimum of mountain experience. They do not require special equipment, but only sturdy boots with non-slip soles and a minimum of mountain experience. Some ascents take place in the Dolomites or on high mountains surrounded by ice; but most of the proposed peaks are located in less inaccessible areas, such as in the Sarntal or Fundres Alps. The climbing routes are carefully described, equipped with orientation maps and many color photos.
