3000 delle Dolomiti

The 3000 meters of the Dolomites rise like isolated giants among the splendid valleys and Dolomite peaks of Trentino Alto Adige and Veneto. While some peaks are within the reach of every hiker, others constitute challenging mountaineering itineraries reserved for expert hikers with the necessary knowledge of roped climbing and experience on terrain and rock faces. The great success decreed by lovers of the Dolomites forced the authors and publisher to publish the third edition of the volume "3000 delle Dolomiti". A success that is certainly not accidental, given the in-depth analysis of the relationships of all the Dolomite elevations that exceed three thousand meters in height. This fourth edition collects further updates and corrections that some members of the Gruppo 3000 Dolomiti have, in recent years, promptly provided to the authors, or from checks carried out by them themselves. Furthermore, in this volume some elevations have been updated, not because the peaks have changed, but above all thanks to the 4Land cartography which uses more advanced and precise measurement technologies. Consequently, based on these new studies, even the list of peaks in order of altitude, present at the end of the book, sees several changes compared to previous editions.
