Ben Laritti, storia di una meteora

At the end of the '60s, a muscular boy who showed off excessive confidence for his young age was noticed on the walls around Lecco. His name was Benvenuto Laritti, Ben to his friends. Easy-going, irreverent, always in love, he seemed to have in his blood the desire for rebellion which would soon explode on the streets. His exuberant vitality soon pushed him beyond the walls and the Lecco mountaineering tradition and it was a succession of adventures and expeditions to the mountains all over the world. Not even the uniform of the Guardia di Finanza and the transfer to Predazzo could frame him, and his interpretation of life and mountaineering remained original until the end.
